Our Story

About Fortis Peak

Where It Started — Founder’s Story

I once had a house with an open backyard — no trees, no definition, no privacy.

I could see into my neighbors’ yard, and they could see into mine. I remember thinking, this doesn’t feel like my space… it feels exposed.

I’ve always loved the outdoors, and I’m a creator by nature. I wanted the yard to feel like an extension of the home — a place to relax, gather, and truly live outdoors — but there was nothing defining it. Just open space.

So I started sketching.

I designed trellises that created privacy without feeling closed in — architectural structure layered with trees, shrubs, and walking paths to define the space while keeping it open and inviting.

I built the first set for my yard, and something unexpected happened. People stopped their cars. They knocked on my door. They asked where we got them.

I built a few more sets across town, and the same thing happened there.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just my situation. Many homeowners want privacy, but they don’t want walls. They want space to recharge and gather — without feeling exposed.

The real problem isn’t just privacy. It’s a lack of structure. It’s a lack of definition.

We create space to enable outdoor living.

Fortis Peak was built to shape outdoor environments that feel intentional, defined, and beautiful.

Our goal for every finished project is simple: that you feel joy and pride in an outdoor space that truly feels like your own.
